The 80's were not amazing, except in retrospect. Everyone wore exceedingly ugly clothes, and women were far from equal to men. So women wore these massive shoulder pads in their jackets trying to look like guys. It was a truly yukky decade. I hate to disillusion you.
I appreciate your comment, but no matter what you say, I will never not enjoy the strangely comforting tackiness that the 80's brought to the world. Never.
