My first attempt at a cupcake. The pattern called for "sprinkles" (tiny little seed beads sewn onto the top), but I didn't have any, and dislike spending money. So I decided to crochet a cherry instead. I just made it up as I went along, but it looks a little too big. The cherry to cupcake ratio is all off.
The cupcake now sits atop Graeme's shelf, in Alf's lap. But if I know Alf, and I'm proud (?) to say that I do (I have all four seasons on DVD... ), he would probably prefer a cat.

Brilliant! And the ratio is perfect - everyone knows tiny cupcakes are the best always with no exceptions.
